The mission of Kucheza is unlocking talent by play, entrepreneurship and engagement.
Play is a basic need in life, just like eating and sleeping. Everybody plays. But play is more then only fun; it shapes our brain. Play stimulates our ability to analyse information, to solve problems and to learn new skills. In a world which is continuously changing and presenting challenges, play prepares us for developing surroundings. People desire to play, they are fully engaged, they improvise, they imagine and play makes them feel good. Plato said ‘You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation’.
Research shows us that by playing games, our fluid intelligence increases. This type of intelligence is the capacity to learn new things and use that to solve problems and develop new skills. Gaming also increases dopamine; an important neurotransmitter in the brain that helps people to be motivated and focused. And because of its unique characteristics games incorporate good learning principles very effectively.
Entrepreneurs are at the basis of every society and have the singe most prominent role. They are free to do what they believe in. Like young people they have passions, dreams and visions. Entrepreneurs are continuously searching for change and opportunities. Entrepreneurs are able to change the course of history because they are true innovators. All people should be enabled to make independent decisions about their own lives, their own environment and their own ideals. By encouraging entrepreneurship, we believe in a world that is open to chance.
Engagement is all about the question whether people are involved, attached, and committed in whatever they are doing. People who love what they are doing, who have passion, are engaged and can outgrow themselves. Research has shown that motivation is the single most important factor when it comes to learning and changing behaviour.
